Manage and Delete Folders and Trends using Timebase Explorer
Folder and Trend Management
In a web browser, navigate to the Explorer <YourIPAdressHere:Port>. In the menu at the top left of the browser window, select the Folder icon. A side bar menu should appear.
For the sake of example, select the Folder with + icon. Hover over the New Folder and select the (+) icon. This will create new trend in the folder you've created. Select the ellipsis (three horizontal dots). Then, select the pencil icon to rename, if desired. From the side bar menu, you should see a hierarchy with a folder and any trends you create below. You can create as many folders and trends as you please. Finally, to delete a folder or trend, select the trash can icon.
⚠️ Important: Some of the following steps will permanently delete a folder and/or trend. Only follow these steps if you are certain you wish to permanently delete a folder and/or trend and properties held within.
NOTE: Because of the parent-child relationship, you must delete all items within a folder before you can delete a parent folder.
